Friends In Fellowship

This is a group of fine folks over 50 who enjoy getting together to have some fun or sometimes meet for a discussion.  We meet in one another's homes, or at the church, or at a public restaurant or event, whatever has been decided for the date by the hosts.  Everyone over 50 is welcome.  Please look for our notices in the bulletins and sign up to join us whenever you see something you might be interested in.

 

Our season starts in the Fall and ends in June with the summer off.  Every year we have a retreat, usually in the Fall if we can secure a place.  We have been going to Trinity Center at Pine Knoll Shores every year for about 8 years now.

 

OWLS

"Owls" is an acronym standing for "Older, Wiser Lutherans." We've seen some days come and go, and seen our kids grow up and move along life's path. We meet for fellowship and sharing, once a month, usually at lunch time. All are invited to come and share with this "mid-life" crowd!

Keenagers

We may be retired, but we've still got plenty of energy! The Keenagers like to travel around and visit local restaurants, sharing love, laughter and a lot of good food! We meet every month at a different restaurant, to try out the cuisine, and have a good time! All are welcome!

Lutheran Men in Mission

Lutheran Men in Mission meet on the First Saturday of every month at 8:00 a.m. for breakfast and a meeting. LMIM supports our Scouting program, raises funds for new missions in our synod, honors men who have given life-long service to the church, assists the Property Committee in maintaining the properties of the congregation, and adopts various mission outreaches of the church for yearly or continued emphases. They also support the work of other individuals and groups in the congregation, and provide continuing educational opportunities for the men of the church.

New Bern Contract Bridge Club



PLAY BRIDGE with the New Bern Contract Bridge Club, every Wednesday at the church at 10:00 a.m.! Classes are held every Monday evening at 7:00 p.m.
