ST. ANDREW LUTHERAN CHURCH PIPE ORGAN – NEWS

First there was the dream of a pipe organ.  Then through the generosity of our congregational members, we were able to acquire a pipe organ from another church.  A group of members from St. Andrew went to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania in June, 2006 to remove and transport our pipe organ.

As this project progresses, we plan to continue to update this site with photos of the pipe organ actually being installed in our sanctuary.

It is now 2008 and things are really shaping up.  We are currently having service in the round until such time as the organ is complete.  Our church members with the guidance of our music director, J.T. Ellenberger, have begun putting up the façade which we obtained from the First Presbyterian Church of Albemarle, North Carolina.  In addition the organ pipes are being cleaned and any dents removed.  The last slide in this presentation shows the façade with the pipes temporarily installed, so that our congregation would be able to have a vision of what is to come.  If you would like to see our progress, Please CLICK HERE.  Feb./March 2008 Click Here
