Ollie- the church building and its contents are insured for $3,000,000. There is a 5% deductible for Windstorm and Hail damage = $150,000. The present Buy Back program thru the NC Joint Authority is being cancelled. Ollie is obtaining proposals from Church Mutual and The Insurance Center. Insurance proposals will be presented in May.  Joe Childers has submitted his notice of resignation as Financial Secretary. He will help train his replacement.

Bernie- Vision Coordinator- we currently have no applicants for this position. Any interested parties should contact a council member! There are no Lay Representatives named as of yet for the NC Convention.

Property- Paul Miottke- The kitchen floor has several beams that need to be replaced due to dry rot and possible termite damage. Property reports that there are members that can do the repairs; however, the kitchen will be closed during this time. Suggestion from council- get professional bids as this type repair would fall under the Capital Reserve funds, or the termite protection policy.  Paul will contact 3 contractors for bids. Property wants to install the sanctuary ceiling fan themselves; however, council feels this should be done by a contractor due to the possibility of severe injury.  The compressor for the Weeks Fellowship Hall needs to be repaired. Property will contact Hardison and a couple other contractors for bid price verification.

Personnel- Egon Lippert – We need a Funeral/Memorial committee- Walter Reed will cover this at the congregational meeting.

Fellowship- Lauren Hudgins- For several Sundays, there have been no sign-ups for Coffee Cleanup after services. If there are no Clean-up volunteers, there will be no coffee.
