Bob Weeks commended Ed for the huge audit he participated in.

*Memorial Committee- Bob Weeks: Presented the framed picture taken by Bill Ash, during a trip to Switzerland & Germany, where Luther made his Here I Stand speech (in Germany at the Diet of Worms). Ash has donated the picture to St Andrew in memory of Karl Koehler & Roland Kaiser.  The memorial committee will hang it to the right of the main doors. Motion to accept the gift was made by Bob Morrissey, with 2nd by Pastor Rust. The motion carried.

Weeks spoke of the memorial plaques with names of members who have died. Names may be missing; those families need to contact the Memorial Committee to let them know.   Weeks showed the council where the fireproof safes are that store the archives. Council minutes, deeds to the church, etc are stored in them. He recommends a 3rd fire safe to store the architectural drawings of the church; Glenn mentioned these could be digitized. Council permission granted to put another fireproof safe on the Memorial Committee Wish List. Weeks recommends having the Alpha & Omega Windows dedicated soon.

*Bernie announced that Jeff Ogonoski is now the Committee Liaison for Worship & Music. Craig Schadewald is now the Liaison for Youth. Lauren Hudgins is moving, so Fellowship is open. Council will need to appoint a Liaison to that committee for the remainder of her term.

Bernie went over the Voting Procedures for feedback from council. Motion made by Ollie Beall, 2nd by Sarah, for a one year waiting period if the 1st vote does not pass to leave the ELCA. The motion carried.

*Pastor’s Report- See full report on Bulletin Board. Billy Bloomfield will join the church on Sunday, 3/13/11. Pastor spoke of Ruth Koehler, Louise Hebscher, Dan Glasgow, and Betty Motto. He spoke of the new Sunday School; also the Christ Candle. Motion was made by Ollie Beall, 2nd by Glenn, to keep the lighted Christ Candle in the Sanctuary at all times. Motion carried. It may be moved to other locations in the sanctuary.
